I’m really excited for this movie to come out. It’s pretty much a classic story. I enjoyed it when we had to read it in school and I’m curious to see how it translates into a movie. Actually, while we read it in my 10th grade English class, I remember thinking, “this would make a great movie.” And, what do ya know?…
I haven’t been keeping up with movies like I normally do. There is a ton of stuff out right now that I’ve never even heard of. I did see Good Luck Chuck a few weeks ago. It was funny. It also had A LOT of sex in it.
I’m also looking forward to seeing the new Ben Stiller comedy, The Heartbreak Kid, even though it has gotten terrible reviews. I’ve heard the leading lady is pretty funny.
A movie that IS getting really good reviews is Eastern Promises. A friend of mine saw it this week and said it was really good, but incredibly violent. I’m not sure I could handle it. One reviewer said he couldn’t believe it only got an ‘R’ rating because of the violence. “Kids should not be allowed, parent or not,” he said. I shall give reviews if I get a chance to see any of these.
